No account
No-account mode keeps API keys, chats, attachments, and model defaults local only on this device. It is useful for single-device use, but it does not provide encrypted account sync.
Free account
A free account is for users who want account sign-in and encrypted API-key sync. Free accounts do not include encrypted chat, file, image, or full workspace sync.
Pro account
Pro is the paid Lerix plan. It enables encrypted workspace sync for chats, files, images, and workspace data across devices, saved Agents, multi-model responses, plus the larger cloud storage and attachment limits listed above.
Pro includes 5 GB of encrypted cloud storage. The launch storage model supports recurring add-ons of +5 GB, +10 GB, or +25 GB, capped at 30 GB total per account, but those add-ons should appear in billing only when available.
Pro also includes Codex Relay for supported same-account desktop workflows.
AI usage is still billed by the AI service or access path you connect. For example, OpenAI documents ChatGPT and API platform billing as separate systems.

Does a Lerix account include AI usage?
No. Lerix account features are separate from AI service API billing. You still need AI service access, such as an OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI API key, for API-key chats.
Is Premium a separate Lerix plan today?
No. The paid plan in Lerix is Pro.
